Abstract in English:

We report a case of a mild yet painful envenomation caused by C. mildei in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Germany). A 27-year-old woman was bitten near the basal joint of the first toe while staying at home. The course of disease (oedema, erythema, pain, no necrosis) is described. Some similar cases of envenomation are shortly discussed and data on the occurrence of C. mildei in south-western Germany are given.
