Abstract:
High-field MRI requires a homogeneous magnetic RF-field. In this paper we present nearfield simulations for a metamaterialbased zeroth-order resonant antenna (ZORA) as described in [1]. The zeroth-order resonance provides a non-local response that goes along with an uniform current distribution, yielding a homogeneous B1-field.
