The application requirements engineering sub-process encompasses all activities for developing the application requirements specification. The achievable amount of domain artefact reuse depends heavily on the application requirements. Hence, a major concern of application requirements engin¬eering is the detection of deltas between application requirements and the available capabilities of the platform. The input to this sub-process comprises the domain requirements and the product roadmap with the major features of the corresponding application. Additionally, there may be specific requirements (e.g. from a customer) for the particular application that have not been captured during domain requirements engineering. The output is the requirements specification for the particular application
