Abstract in Englisch:

The Internet has transformed increasingly from a document-centered web to a data-oriented one, enabling new opportunities to both users and developers. However, interacting with this data in a traditional way is often limited due to its amount and heterogeneity. In this paper, we describe X3S, an approach to filter and illustrate semantic content of data-webs, allowing the creation and use of components for data-exploration and visualization. In addition to that, we introduce an editor for X3S files, facilitating the creation of and the interaction with semantic data. The combination of the X3S format and the editor is compared to existing approaches and evaluated in a user study.
